Description:
The course takes full account of section A-VI/4 and Table A-VI/4-1 of the STCW Code adopted by the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers, 1978, as amended in 1995. Candidates successfully completing the course will be able to provide immediate basic medical first aid at the scene of an accident or other medical emergency until arrival of a person in charge of medical care aboard.
