Description:
The course comprises a familiarization training programme appropriate to duties and responsibilities of ship's crew, including characteristics of tanker cargoes, their associated hazards, safety measures, pollution prevention, emergency operation, cargo equipment and operations.
Candidates successfully completing the course should be able to assume the duties and responsibilities related to cargo and cargo equipment, as specifically assigned to them in accordance with regulation A-V/1 of the STCW Code.
